Product Description
SixtyFour‑18 - 1/18 Scale Hopping Lowrider. The Iconic ’64 Impala Experience, Now in a New Mini‑Scale Hopper
The Redcat SixtyFour‑18 brings the unmistakable style of the 1964 Chevrolet Impala SS into a brand‑new scale delivering the same lowrider attitude, hopping performance, and show‑stopping detail as its 1/10‑scale big brother, now in a compact, ultra‑fun 1/18 platform.
This fully functional mini hopper arrives ready‑to‑run, complete with a new 6‑channel LR6‑18 radio system, 2‑in‑1 ESC/receiver, micro servos, LED lights, and a 2S 750mAh LiPo battery. Whether you’re cruising the living room, hitting switches on your workbench, or showing off at a meet, the SixtyFour‑18 packs serious capability into a size that fits anywhere.
A New Scale, A New Suspension Trick
The SixtyFour‑18 introduces something that had only been available in the non-hopping lowrider line: Independent front wheel lift. Instead of a single front hopping servo, the SixtyFour‑18 uses two dedicated micro servos, one for each front wheel. This allows you to raise and lower the left and right front wheels independently - opening the door to new tricks, new stances, and new ways to express lowrider style with a remote control hopping lowrider. Pair that with the rear lifting servos and the SixtyFour‑18 becomes a true performer, capable of:
- Front wheel independence
- Rear height adjustment
- Full‑front hopping
- Slow cruising with real‑time ride height control
It’s everything you expect from a Redcat hopper, distilled into a smaller, more playful package.
Precision Steering with Positive Camber
The SixtyFour‑18 also includes a 5‑degree positive camber steering kit, giving drivers the option to fine‑tune stance and steering geometry for an authentic lowrider look. This upgrade features a dedicated 5‑degree steering rack and two matching 5‑degree steering links, allowing the front wheels to sit with a subtle outward tilt that enhances realism and visual attitude. Whether cruising low or hitting switches, the positive camber setup adds that unmistakable show‑car flair that defines true lowrider style.
New Electronics, Same Lowrider Soul
The SixtyFour‑18 features an all‑new electronics suite designed specifically for mini‑scale hopping:
- 2‑in‑1 ESC/Receiver for clean wiring and compact installation
- Micro steering and lifting servos tuned for fast response
- 2S 750mAh LiPo battery for long run times and strong servo power
- USB charger included
- LED headlights pre‑installed for nighttime cruising
Despite its size, the SixtyFour‑18 delivers the punch and precision needed to hop, lift, and dance just like its larger counterpart.
A Beautifully Detailed 1/18 Impala Body
Redcat’s reputation for scale detail continues here. The SixtyFour‑18 features a highly detailed, licensed 1964 Chevrolet Impala SS body, complete with:
- Crisp body lines and accurate proportions
- Chrome‑style molded trim
- LED lighting
- Knockoff wheels with whitewall tires
- Magnetic body mounts for easy access
Small Scale. Big Attitude.
The SixtyFour‑18 isn’t just a smaller version of the legendary SixtyFour — it’s a new chapter in Redcat’s lowrider lineup. With independent front wheel control, new electronics, LED lights, and gorgeous licensed bodies, this mini hopper delivers huge personality in a size that fits anywhere.
Whether you’re a longtime lowrider fan or discovering the culture for the first time, the SixtyFour‑18 brings the joy of hitting switches to a whole new scale.
